SalahNow ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (encrypted). If you use social login (Google), we receive your name, email, and profile photo from the provider.
Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device's GPS location to show nearby masjids. Location data is used only for this purpose and is not stored permanently on our servers.
Device Information: We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to send push notifications. This token is tied to your device, not your personal identity.
Usage Data: We collect information about which masjids you subscribe to, your prayer reminder preferences, and app interaction data to improve our service.
Your data is stored securely on our servers hosted with industry-standard security practices. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All API communication uses HTTPS encryption. We implement JWT-based authentication with token refresh mechanisms.

SalahNow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
