By downloading, installing, or using SalahNow ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

SalahNow is a mobile application that provides live Jamaat (congregational prayer) times from masjids (mosques). Users can subscribe to masjids, receive push notifications for prayer times, and view announcements from subscribed masjids.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading masjid information
  • Abuse the notification system or spam other users
  • Attempt to access admin features without authorization
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Use the App for any illegal or harmful purpose

4. Masjid Admin Responsibilities

If you are granted masjid admin access, you agree to:

  • Keep prayer times accurate and up-to-date
  • Only post truthful and relevant announcements
  • Not misuse admin privileges
  • Represent your masjid accurately

5. Content Accuracy

Prayer times and announcements are provided by masjid administrators. SalahNow does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Always verify critical times with your local masjid directly.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and content, is owned by SalahNow and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

SalahNow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Incorrect prayer times posted by masjid admins
  • Notification delivery failures due to device settings or network issues
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Any damages arising from use of the App

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
